We are seeking a Part-time Housekeeper for a family of five with young, energetic children, living in a relaxed yet well-managed six-bedroom household. We are seeking a thorough, proactive, and reliable Part-Time Housekeeper with excellent attention to detail to support our full-time Housekeeper in maintaining a clean, organised, and smoothly running home. We are looking for someone who is passionate about housekeeping, enjoys working in a busy family environment, and is committed to maintaining a high standard of care and cleanliness in the home.

Duties outlined but not limited to :

• General housekeeping, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces throughout the home.
• Laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, and attention to delicate fabrics.
• Organising and maintaining household spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas.
• Supporting the household during busy periods, including meal prep assistance if required.
• Monitoring household supplies and reporting when replenishment is needed.
• Assisting with light errands or shopping as needed.
• Maintaining discretion and respect for the family’s privacy at all times.

Requirements:

• Recent, checkable verbal references.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Proven experience in private household work, ideally in family homes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the full-time Housekeeper.
• Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to tasks.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.

Location: Kensington, Central London

Working Pattern: 3–4 days per week (depending on your availability), 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with at least one day per week including a weekend day)

Salary: £23 per hour
