We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Housekeeper to join a prestigious household in Henley . The ideal candidate will ensure the upkeep of the house to the highest standards, supervise a small team of cleaners, and work closely with the Estate Manager, chef, and other household staff. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, flexibility, and a calm, positive attitude.

Duties Outlined but Not Limited to :

• Ensure the upkeep of the house to a very high standard at all times
• Conduct detailed daily hygiene checks of bathrooms, kitchens, and general household cleanliness
• Monitor and coordinate all maintenance, including regular testing of appliances, heating, and other systems
• Liaise with contractors and the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Supervise and clean alongside a small team of cleaners
• Prepare weekly cleaner rotas based on family needs and upcoming events, ensuring the Estate Manager and Senior EA have visibility
• Support the Estate Manager with contractors on-site and general household tasks
• Order groceries, provisions, flowers, and house essentials, maintaining appropriate stock levels
• Work proactively with gardeners regarding produce and ensure indoor plants remain healthy
• Organise laundry and turn-down services
• Assist with events as required
• Maintain records, including wine cellar inventory
• Occasionally cook on winter weekends if children are home and no chef is present
• Assist with dog care, including feeding, walking, vet visits, and inoculations
• Follow existing household SOPs and contribute to ongoing process improvements
• Work closely with the chef/cook and support staff supervision where required
• Ensure general appearance, hygiene, and uniform compliance of all staff on-site
