We are seeking a warm, capable and proactive individual to join a private household in Cyprus as a full-time Child-Focused Household Assistant. This is a broad, hands-on role best suited to someone with a strong childcare background who enjoys being part of a busy family environment.

The priority for this role is childcare, with household support as a secondary element.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care to young children
• Plan and prepare simple, healthy lunches and dinners
• Support with daily routines, structure and activities
• Assist with light household tasks (tidying, organisation rather than deep cleaning)
• Run errands as required (shopping, collections, general household support)
• Assist both inside and outside the home as needed

Candidate Profile

• Background in childcare (e.g. nanny, nursery, teaching assistant)
• Formal childcare training or qualification is essential
• Confident preparing simple family meals
• Energetic, flexible and happy to work in a varied, evolving role
• Proactive and able to “see what needs doing”
• Warm, engaging and child-focused in approach

Working Pattern

• Approx. 36 hours per week
• Flexibility required based on family needs

Salary Guidance (Cyprus)

• €1,800 – €3,500+ per month depending on experience
• Higher for exceptional candidates with strong childcare credentials
