Our clients, who have a beautiful family home in the village of Tackley, Oxfordshire, are looking for an experienced Housekeeper to take care of their property. The family consists of four members. The two children attend school in Oxford and on a rare occasion may require being collected. The property has 6-bedrooms and a guest cottage which will need occasional attendance. The property has recently undergone a small renovation and the family have recently move into the property . The role would start at the beginning of May 2025. 

Duties outlined but not limited to:

•  Daily housekeeping
•  De-cluttering the house, keeping items organised in the places assigned by the employer
•  Occasionally cooking meals for the family
•  Cleaning, organising, recycling and tidying, coordinating with the Council and removals services
• Maintaining or arranging the maintenance of property and contents, including furnishings, lighting and bulbs, toys, plants, cars, garden and yard, play equipment and walkway
• Laundering and ironing
• Packing and unpacking
• Stocking household supplies and groceries
• Answering the door and taking deliveries as required
• Running errands as necessary
• Overseeing contractor appointments and deliveries, such as dry cleaning, flowers and food
•  Ensuring the security of the house, liaising with security services, contributing to house, occasionally collecting children from school or activities and providing safe, educational supervision
• Using initiative to ensure all the above is completed
• Coordinating and making all household purchases among the team and doing returns
• Identify, report and schedule maintenance needs as occasion arises
• Driving on occasions if required
• You may be required to undertake other duties in keeping with your role and to comply with any rules notified to you

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am -5pm

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000
