We are looking for a kind, caring, and dog-loving individual to provide overnight companionship for an elderly gentleman in a beautiful village setting near Chipping Norton. This is a temporary live-in role from Monday 19th/20th August to Sunday 24th/25th August exact dates to be confirmed. The ideal candidate will arrive each evening around 6:30–7:00 PM, prepare a simple supper, and assist with breakfast the following morning. The gentleman is largely self-sufficient and has a strong local support system, so you are free to leave during the day. Your main role is to provide companionship and reassurance during the evenings and overnight. While there are no personal care duties, someone with a caring background and a naturally attentive and supportive approach would be ideal. A love of dogs is essential, as there are two much-loved dogs at the property—a whippet and a Labrador—who will need basic care such as feeding and being let out, they do have someone to care for them during the day and walks.

Duties outlined but not limited to:

• Provide friendly and reassuring companionship in the evenings and overnight
• Prepare a simple evening meal and assist with breakfast
• Be available in case assistance is needed during the night (gentleman uses walking aids)
• Feed and care for two friendly dogs (letting out, light care)
• Naturally warm, caring, and attentive
• Must love dogs (essential)
• Enjoys a peaceful countryside setting
• Trustworthy and reliable
• A driver with access to a vehicle (essential due to rural location)

This is a short-term opportunity in a welcoming home, offering a calm and beautiful rural setting. The Accommodation is a room within the property for the duration of role.

Hours: Arrive at 6:30–7:00 PM, depart by 9:00 AM

Location: Village near Chipping Norton (own transport required)

Salary: £90 -£120 Per stay
