Our lovely clients, based in the beautiful village of Hook Norton, are seeking an experienced part-time housekeeper. The ideal candidate will have strong housekeeping skills and knowledge of caring for antiques and artwork. The family home has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The household consists of 3 adults, a sausage dog, and a cat, with occasional visits from extended family.

Duties outlined but not limited to:

• All daily housekeeping duties, including hoovering, dusting, and tidying all rooms
• Occasional linen laundry (note: laundry itself is not a regular part of the role)
• Stock control and pantry cleaning
• Deep cleaning when required
• Caring for antiques and artwork
• Maintaining all rooms to a high standard

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience
• Knowledge of antiques and artwork care
• Driving license essential due to property location
• Flexible availability, preferably mornings

Location: Hook Norton

Hours: Flexible — ideally two 6-hour days (12 hours per week) or split over 2-3 mornings

Start Date: Immediate start possible

Salary: £16 – £20 per hour, depending on experience
