Our client is seeking an experienced and adaptable temporary Housekeeper/Cook to provide live-in support at their private residence in Woodstock from 4th -18th September with the view to go permanent during this period. The property is a five-bedroom farmhouse set on five acres, primarily occupied by one or two adults, with family members visiting on weekends.

Duties outlined but not limited to:

• Daily cleaning and upkeep of the home to a high standard.
• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management, including care of delicate items.
• Light organisational tasks and ensuring the home is always guest-ready.
• Preparing fresh, seasonal meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for the principals and guests.
• Confident catering to dietary needs (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free).
• Using produce from the kitchen garden where possible.
• Shopping for fresh food and household essentials.
• Assisting with entertaining, including preparing the home for visiting family and small gatherings.

Candidate Attributes:

• Previous experience in private households, with strong housekeeping and cooking skills.
• Proactive, organised, and able to work independently.
• Warm, discreet, and trustworthy, with flexibility to adapt to family needs.
• Comfortable in a relaxed, informal family environment.

Additional Details:

• Accommodation provided: Separate studio ensuite with lounge and wood burner.
• Temporary role: 4th–18th September (live-in throughout).
• Based near Woodstock, Cotswolds.
