We are seeking a experienced, professional domestic couple for a beautiful country home in the Cotswolds, near Chipping Norton, supporting a family of three.

This role would suit a kind, proactive, and well-organised couple who are confident managing a smooth-running household, communicate exceptionally well with principals, and can manage their own time effectively. When the family are in residence, the role will include weekend and evening work, particularly during term time and parts of the school holidays.

Duties outlined but not limited to :

Housekeeping & Household Management

• Hands-on housekeeping to a high standard
• Cleaning, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
• Packing and unpacking for trips abroad
• Preparing family and guest bedrooms ahead of arrivals
• Supervising and managing occasional short-term rentals
• Supporting house parties and family entertaining
• Front-of-house duties when hosting guests

Cooking & Provisioning

• Cooking wholesome meals for the family
• Food ordering, shopping, and running household errands
• Assisting with household accounts

Property & Grounds

• General maintenance of garden pots (gardener employed)
• General upkeep of an additional small Oxford property (2–3 times per week)

Family & Lifestyle Support

• Care and exercise of two well-behaved dogs
• Occasional supervision and overnight care of a teenager
• Driving duties as required

Team & Operations

• Household management in conjunction with other staff
• Ensuring discretion, privacy, and professionalism at all times

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a domestic couple in a private household
• Both candidates must be confident drivers with clean licences
• Excellent, checkable references
• Fluent, proficient English speakers
• Flexible and comfortable being on call when required
• High levels of discretion, reliability, and professionalism
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS checks required

Accommodation :Separate 3-bedroom cottage within the grounds of the main property Utility bills covered by the employer

Hours :Full-time role based on 45 hours per week ,Flexibility required for evenings and weekends when the family are in residence

Start: May - June - negotiable

Salary: £70k - £80k for the right candidate
