We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeper to join a small, long-established team at a beautiful private residence in Belgravia, Central London. This is the London home of a titled British couple who divide their time between properties and travel extensively. The position offers the opportunity to work in a well-organised, respectful household where many staff have remained for over 25 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily high-standard housekeeping, working alongside other experienced Housekeepers and a Butler
• Full care of household linens, bedding, and towels
• Handling of delicate, designer clothing with confidence to minimise the need for dry cleaning
• Assisting the Butler with ad-hoc tasks and guest service
• Answering the telephone, taking messages, and managing deliveries
• Welcoming guests professionally and assisting during occasional events
• Light assistance in the kitchen during events and after entertaining
• Occasional evening support for turndown service when the principals are in residence (approx. once per week)

Role Details:

• Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (with lunch and breaks)
• Salary: £45,000 gross per annum
• Benefits: Pension, private healthcare, annual bonus, yearly salary review
• Contract: Permanent, live-out position

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a high-level private household
• Confidence in handling luxury garments and fine linens
• Discreet, professional, and proactive approach
• Strong team player, able to work collaboratively with long-standing staff
