We’re looking for a kind, proactive Housekeeper to join a busy family household with three lovely children (ages 4, 5, and 12). The family live in a recently renovated 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom home set on 50 acres, with horses, pets, and three much-loved dogs – so a genuine love of animals is a must.

You’ll be joining a small, supportive team (alongside a full-time groom and gardener) and will play a key part in keeping the home running smoothly. This is an informal but well-organised family home, and they’re hoping to find someone who takes pride in their work, has great attention to detail, and enjoys being part of family life.

What the role involves:

• Day-to-day housekeeping and cleaning (reception rooms, kitchen/dining, playroom, laundry room).
• Laundry, ironing, and keeping wardrobes organised.
• Helping with school runs (school is just 3 minutes away).
• Light gardening jobs such as watering plants, deadheading, and keeping outdoor spaces tidy (an interest in gardening would be great, but not essential).
• Running errands, food shopping, and other household support.
• Helping with cooking and meal prep from time to time (mainly for the children).
• Occasional childcare support such as packing school bags or helping with diaries.
• Keeping the home neat and organised following its renovation.
• Some family PA support – diary organisation, syncing schedules.
• Assisting with a newly completed 3-bedroom cottage used for short-term lets if needed.
• Once a year, proxy parenting for one week when the family travels to Scotland (optional).

What we’re looking for:

• Someone with a real eye for detail and pride in keeping a home to a high standard.
• Organised, energetic, and proactive with a can-do approach.
• Comfortable working in a family setting.
• Experience in private households would be a bonus.
• Warm, approachable, and able to fit in naturally with family life.
• Driving licence preferred (for school runs and errands).

• Location: Moreton-in-Marsh
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30/9am – 5/5:30pm, with some pre-arranged weekend support (mainly in winter).
