  • Work collaboratively within a professional kitchen team, following direction where required.
  • Provide occasional support with meal preparation for the wider household team, maintaining consistent quality throughout.
  • Source, order and manage premium seasonal ingredients, prioritising artisan suppliers and organic produce where possible.
  • Maintain an immaculate kitchen environment, ensuring exemplary standards of hygiene, organisation, stock rotation, labelling and food safety compliance.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the House Manager and household team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and a calm, solutions-focused approach in a busy private kitchen setting.

  • Proven experience as a Private Chef within a high-end or UHNW household (family cooking with children essential).
  • Strong ability to deliver healthy, flavour-led cuisine at a consistently high standard.

  • Hands-on, adaptable, highly organised and calm under pressure.
  • A collaborative, respectful and professional team-player mindset.
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards and kitchen organisation.
  • London-based with the right to live and work in the UK.
  • Demonstrable longevity and stability in previous roles.
  • Available to start immediately, with outstanding and fully checkable references.

Desirable (Bonus) Skills

  • Nutrition-aware cooking, including macro balance, reduced refined sugar and allergy awareness.
  • Experience with weekly menu cycles, family-friendly “healthy comfort” food and elevated entertaining.
  • Particular strength in salads, vegetable dishes, sauces, dressings and seasonal baking.

  • Typically 9:00am – 6:00pm.
  • 5 days on / 2 days off (rota basis).
  • Flexibility required, including occasional weekends and early shifts as needed.
