- Provide turn-down and night service, including room checks, lighting, and temperature control.
- Anticipate the family’s needs and ensure their satisfaction through thoughtful, proactive service.
- Maintain a strong sense of discretion and respect for the family’s privacy.
- Monitor and replenish all housekeeping supplies and amenities.
- Prepare and assist with family events, dinners, and social gatherings, often on short notice.
- Support with meal preparation and occasional cooking as needed.
- Prepare the family for travel including packing, luggage checks, and ensuring essentials are in place.
- Conduct regular fridge, freezer, and pantry stock takes and deep cleans.
- Carry out weekly errands and personal shopping (e.g. dry cleaning, seamstress visits).
- Assist with dog walking and equestrian support where required.
- Carry out occasional childcare duties, including school runs, activity preparation, and occasional nannying.
- Ensure household security and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Foster a harmonious working relationship with the wider household team, including the Maintenance Team and Private PA.
- Lead by example, promoting a collaborative and hands-on approach within the housekeeping team.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a private household or luxury environment.
